What is an Independent Contract Agent?
An Independent Contract Agent is a self-employed contractor (not an employee), contracting their services directly with the Clients on the Home Agent Network. Working as a Home Agent for virtual call centers means their customer calls come directly to your Home Office. You are connected to your virtual clients through our network.

Essentially you are setting up your own Home Office Business, and can grow your business portfolio to contract with multiple Client Contracts.
As a Home Based Agent you set your availability to suit your lifestyle, while ensuring you are meeting the contracts requirements.
Then the shifts are distributed evenly among the Home Agents, to receive your schedule within the availability you’ve set.

Next, the remaining shifts or added hours are posted on a “Swap Board”, where all Agents can post and/or pick up additional hours to work.
Schedules are pre-released by the Clients for review, and then published to the Agents 1-2 weeks in advance. It’s truly a flexible online scheduling system that Home Agents love!

You are not required to become Remote Certified (submit and pass the online tests) until after you’ve been invited to Training by a Client & are registering for a class. However, once you have applied to a job posting, you can submit your tests to see if your equipment passes or if you require any upgrades.
